Maryam [ma-ry-am] – Inspired by Violette’s dear friend, Maryam is a vibrant red with soft blue undertones, embodying both the warmth of fire and the calm of the sea. The blend of red and blue reflects her fiery spirit and the quiet strength of motherhood, with the blue symbolizing both 'la mer' (the sea) and 'la mère' (mother).

This unique marbled formula features a swirl of two shades – one sheer and the other a richer hue – that blend together to create a seamless, multidimensional flush inspired by the 'sfumato' painting technique. Violette's Inspiration: "I’ve been obsessed with Neoclassical and Italian Renaissance paintings since my art school days, especially the techniques the masters used to create radiant, true-to-life skin. They blended colors so subtly that the flush on the cheeks appeared to come from within – almost like layers of transparent color. Years later, when I had my first daughter Inès, I was captivated by the natural flush on her sweet cherubic cheeks. I like to say that Bisou Blush is just a kiss of color on the cheek, because it mirrors that very natural flush we all have."
