OUR IMPACT
NOTE FROM VIOLETTE
“I always want VIOLETTE_FR to represent progress and we are part of a global movement to reduce waste and emissions created by the beauty industry. This comes from a personal passion driven by my upbringing, motherhood, and years of experience with countless beauty products, and it’s work I’m incredibly proud of. We are committed to sourcing and using environmentally-responsible materials, from the sustainable harvest of natural ingredients to packaging made with post-consumer recycled material. We pledge to continuously make improvements and advance the VIOLETTE_FR sustainability profile. We also ask that you join us and share your ideas on how we can improve."
RESPONSIBLE BEAUTY, IN ACTION
As a company, we believe that consistent giving to highly skilled nonprofit and impact-driven organizations is essential to addressing global climate change. VIOLETTE_FR is deeply committed to progress—both within our brand and across the beauty industry—and we continue to listen, research, revisit, and innovate so our impact can meaningfully improve over time. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are actively working toward B Corp certification.

Primary Packaging
We have a duty to reduce waste. At VIOLETTE_FR, we hand select every single component of our packaging with environmental impact top of mind and we’re frequently revisiting what we can do better. With every new product we look for opportunities to improve the footprint of any component we can. Here we’ve outlined details for each product.
Secondary Packaging
The VIOLETTE_FR shipping boxes, internal notecards, and product outer boxes are all recyclable paper (even the cardboard boxes with ink designs on the inside). We use FSC Certified paper and water-based soy ink on all boxes, both shipping and packaging. Our notecards are made by a local Brooklyn artist.
How to Recycle
Discover our refillable options for Frange Puff dry shampoo and Boum-Boum Milk 3-in-1 skincare spray.
To discard products, we suggest using Pact Collective. Pact is a nonprofit collective that collects hard-to-recycle beauty products and finds a way to recycle them properly.
