"I absolutely love all the bisou jelly lipsticks – the coverage and texture are excellent, and they're very easy, actively enjoyable to apply. There is a light, very pleasant smell, and the lipstick casing is sturdy and elegant. Confiture de figue is a very attractive 'warm' red (I say warm, as that's the way I want to describe it, but the tint is very, very slightly on the purply end of a darker red, so technically might be called 'cooler'). It's very easy to apply without having to fuss over it, and you can achieve a true bouche mordue effect by keeping the colour core more to the middle of the lips (conversely, Violette suggests going beyond the lip line – both techniques work, in different ways)."

"I'm a huge fan of the regular bisou balm lipsticks even though they dry my lips out a bit. I tried the bisou jelly and loved it. Very hydrating with the same soft application of the balm. Love the confiture de figure color. It's a muted dark berry on me."

Gradient Lip Made Easy

"This lip product makes creating a gradient soooo easy, just apply the lip product and don’t rub in too much. Practically fool proof. I bought the shade Bonbon à la Rose, online it looked cool toned and I’m neutral leaning cool (deep winter), it wasn’t as cool toned as it appeared online and a lot more vivid on my fair to light skin. Pretty color nonetheless!"

Very moisturizing

"None of the colors look on me like I wish they would but they are still very moisturizing and it lasts all day better than the balm amour. The color leaves a non drying tint behind just like the nectars. It does look more like a lipstick and I hate the lipstick look so I won’t be reaching for this one often."
