Engineered with two distinct layers—a Vitamin E-infused pigmented core that allows for blurred color within the natural lip and an outer jelly layer rich with emollients—this unique formula results in juicy, just-been-kissed lips, building on Bisou Balm’s signature French “bouche mordue” (just-bitten lips) look with a volume-enhancing sheen.

Prior to first use, prime the bullet on a paper towel or your hand to release pigment. The unique jelly outer layer first hydrates your lips, creating a smooth base that allows the color core to reveal its full intensity. To achieve a just-bitten lip with natural shine, swipe Bisou Jelly flat onto bare lips, applying the jelly layer just above the natural lip line. Layer multiple coats for buildable color payoff. Et voilà!

"This is the absolute perfect color for late summer & early fall. Reminds me of the color our lips turned after eating figs all afternoon in late summer. The sheen is beautiful, and it wears well. You can apply more to deepen the color for evening. I would love to see a Bisou blush in this color as well!"

I bought the shade Bonbon à la Rose, online it looked cool toned and I’m neutral leaning cool (deep winter), it wasn’t as cool toned as it appeared online and a lot more vivid on my fair to light skin. Pretty color nonetheless!"
"None of the colors look on me like I wish they would but they are still very moisturizing and it lasts all day better than the balm amour. The color leaves a non drying tint behind just like the nectars. It does look more like a lipstick and I hate the lipstick look so I won’t be reaching for this one often."

All other colours I've tried so far were always just too bright and missed this muted element. This is the colour I've been wating for and can see myself buy over and over. PLEASE make it into a blush and the bisou balm formula. The formula feels substantial enough that it doesn't immediately slides around everywhere. For a tinted balm it has great staying power and wears down evenly. tldr: perfect muted bouche mordue lipstick for those who always struggled to find a not too bright one."
