The innovative oil-in-water emulsion blends the long-wear pigment of a stain with nourishing ingredients like squalane, shea butter, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid to deliver hydration and lasting color for up to 8 hours. Why isn't my Lip Nectar filled all the way?

Each tube is filled by weight, not volume. A small amount of air is intentionally left to accommodate the applicator and prevent overflow when you insert the wand back into the tube. Rest assured, you're getting the full amount listed on the packaging.

"I was really excited by this product because it's a hydrating lip stain that isn't sticky. I didn't want to have to apply more than one application get the true lip stain effect, so I paired it with a Bisou Balm in Amour Frou—one very light application (a few dabs) of Bisou Balm (enough to give my lips color) and then one layer of Lip Nectar. The result of this combination really makes the Lip Nectar color more prominent once the glossiness goes away and you're left with the lip stain."

My first lip stain!

"I've ordered a few lip products from Violette, I've enjoyed them all, but I wanted something less saturated and could be an every day lip color. I've been looking for a lip product that would enhance my natural lip color and be hydrating. This was my first lip stain product and I absolutely love it. I'm able to either reapply or use just lip balm on top but still have color. I normally just wear lip balm and very particular with how my lips feel. The Lip Nectar is super comfortable to wear, not drying, the product stays and the stain is a perfect amount of subtle staining color. Semi-gloss,not super duper shiny. Also I'd like to add since this is my first lip staining product, I was worried that applying more throughout the day would continue to make my lips darker, but it never did! "I am so blown away at the texture of this gloss! It's completely non sticky but has just the right amount of slip. I dislike super slippery oily glosses, but I also dislike super sitcky ones, and this isn't any of that. It looks just "wet" enough without being super shiny, but it doesn't look gross or dry. I'm really not sure I can truly describe the feeling; it just "floats" on the lips. And it leaves a stain once wiped off to boot. Absolutely beautiful product, certainly more than I ever thought.
