"I love a matte lipstick. This formula is like nothing else in my collection. I’ve never felt a matte that’s so gentle. The pigment is there and no need for use of a lip liner unless you’re one who just has to use one. It doesn’t move unless something oily is introduced. I’m in love with it. I find the formula too thick for me to put a full brush load onto my lips so I have to dot it on and then spread with my finger. It feels light, but is not very long lasting. I would still like to try the other shades though."

Partly the colour (I don't think Mon Cheri is for me) which is a bit too brown and a bit too dark for the look I want these days (I'm 60) and there's a bit too much product on the wand that gives a full-on saturated look. I might do better with the red, but I really wish there was a Betise equivalanet, I would be all over that. Plus - very light feel, no stickiness at all and doesn't run into my smokers lines which is a big plus for me. All in all would I would try in another shade? yes."
