      "I struggle with eyeshadows on my 55yr lids. I could never accomplish the barely there colors. I always seemed to have a heavy hand and lighter colors didn’t work, looked ruddy or off? This formula does what it says. Goes on silky and truly buildable. My eyelids lit up softly each time I stroked the brush. It’s an “under-color” payoff by layering. I personally love this product! The Bronze D’or is luminescent and makes my hazel eyes POP POW! Violette’s done it again. Brava!"

      "I am quite disappointed in the Plume Eyeshadow , especially for the cost of the product. The packaging is nice but I do not consider it to be high end. The formulation is innovative but the color translation and transfer is sub-par. It goes on way lighter , with a barely there quality and shows up as brown versus an orchid color. I wish I could return the product and do not recommend it."

      "I’ve recently been ill with a cold, which has been making me look quite pale and tired. I love this Plume Eyeshadow in Bois Brûlé because it is so easy to apply and blend with my fingertip, is weightless to wear, and brings some life and color to my look. Color lasts a good six hours without primer. I took one start off because it does crease a bit, but it’s also easy enough to blend back in when it does. I love that the look is effortless and lived in, “my skin but better”. Violette really knows how to formulate makeup that is easy to apply and works for a variety of complexions and ages!"

      "I wanted to live this shadow, as I love so many other products from this beautiful brand! However, the eye shadow creases. I have tried it both with and without eye primer, but it makes no difference. I love easy products you can apply with your fingers, so I thought this one would be a nice alternative to cream stick shadows. I will try it again using a face powder base on the eyelids to see if that prevents the creasing before I decide that it won’t work for me at all."

      "I’m very happy with this colour - since I let my hair go grey a lot of the colours I used to wear look muddy and nondescript and my face ‘disappears’. ( my hair used to be very dark, my face is pale). This colour can be a faint everyday or a more vivid evening shade."

      "I didn’t care for the product, especially the Carbon Fume. It was very patchy to apply and didn’t blend out smoothly or evenly. I wanted to return it immediately and was surprised to find it could not be returned if tried. I suggest you buy it from a retailer that accepts returns. I did like the concept but definitely not the color. I also purchased the Lait Au Cafe and like this so much better."
