To achieve it, we apply lip balm, add a touch of lipstick, and then kiss a tissue to remove excess shine, so it looks more like our natural lips. Bisou Balm leaves behind *just* the right amount of pigment and comes in the most delicious colors, inspired by the traditional French candies of my childhood."

"I saw an Instagram ad for this bisou balm in chocolat and was intrigued - I’d tried two other colors from violette and loved the consistency so I wanted to try this color. It is PERFECTION and actually I don’t know if there is a reformulation but the balm is actually SOFTER and MORE MOISTURIZING than the previous tubes I owned. The color is perfect chic Nicole Kidman fall 90s practical magic witchy perfection. Fan for life. Love. Would buy ten more, one for all besties!"
"I must say my expectations were low, only because heavy marketing in the cosmetics industry ins’t necessarily followed by high quality products, but i must say i ‘ve been blown away by the colour and the texture of this lipstick. It makes lips really smooth and has a very subtle aroma. I am a dark brunette with fair skin and the colour looks absolutely beautiful - the colour depth is also buildable. Sort of regretted not buying a second one."
"I like it. It's a good daytime color. I don't care for reds and pinks and it's hard to find a color that matches the lips. The Bisou Balm Chocolat is perfect. It goes on smoothly, not too slick. I have had to re-apply it to keep the smooth feeling on my lips. At first i thought the scent was a little too sugary. Sort of like cotton candy or bubble gum, but i kind of like it now."
"This color is so lovely! I have very, very dark brown hair with red undertones, fair skin, hazel eyes and this is my favorite of all followed closely by Bonbon Myrtille, Betise, then Mon Cheri. It’s a rich brown that doesn’t look like a 1990s brown, it’s raisiny…a brown with the slightest purple grape tone. Very sophisticated!"
"Delicious color! This one will suit literally everyone - it is a very unique brown, a bit mauvy and a bit reddish, not too cold, not too warm, just elegant. Not a 90s dead-brown. It is truly chocolate color that looks amazing. I wish it were a bit more moisturizing, but it is a special matte lipstick, so it is clear why it can't be. I am really in love with it. The color intensity depends on your preference, and can be built up."
"I’m really happy with this balm. The color is beautiful, although I expected Chocolat to be a little darker and more intense on the lips. The matte finish is gorgeous and still feels very comfortable, never dry or heavy. It feels nourishing and hydrating, and leaves my lips soft while still giving them that effortless blurred matte look. Overall, a really lovely product - I just wish the shade had a little more depth."
"I absolutely love this product and have several colours but most recently had to get the chocolat as soon as I saw the autumn friendly shade. Goes on so very smoothly and is no drying while softening and blurring my lips. I only wish it lasted longer! Also, the cap seems to have improved since my early purchases as it doesn't pop off as easily in my handbag or pocket. Thank you!!"
"I love Bétise (the perfect rose) and Calisson (the perfect neutral), but I just got Chocolat and it is everything, a perfect fall neutral straight from the 90's. These lipsticks are buildable alone or over a more moisturizing balm, but fairly drying alone. They definitely deliver the blur and smooth effect as advertised. They don't stay put long but leave a bit of a tint, and I reapply when needed."
